Miniature

I have been collecting these little dollhouse furnitures since Frida Viola was born. She is not old enough yet to play with them, but meanwhile the little collection is growing. My dad made the most wonderful dollhouse for my sister and me. He was an architect and the dollhouse project was perfectionistic in every detail. The house still exists - it is stored at this place. My dream is one day to restore it for Frida Viola.

The stove, the kitchen sink and the fridge are found in my favorite vintage shop, Affär.

The dining table from the local thrift store at my mom's place.

The fantastic tub and the toilet also from Affär.

The kid's room with furnitures from the local thrift store. The two little wood cradles are from my own childhood.

The living room furnitures from this Swedish flea market.

And the piano from the local thrift store at my mom's place. The little teddy from A's childhood.

What is a good age to start playing with a dollhouse...?

  2. Such nice little things! Would quite like that sofa in big size, and the babybath.
