Anne Millet
I have been following the colourful and inspiring blog of Anne Millet for a while so I thought it was funny to see these photos from her home via Cover Kids. They make me want more colours and patterns in my own home. Maybe a yellow door...?

inside the house
Thought I would share with you some photos from inside our Swedish country house. Everything here is quite worn out. It has become a principle that all we bring here and put inside should be found at the local flea markets or charity shops. I like it this way. We have continously projects inside and around the house - big plans and dreams - but most often only the smaller things are getting done, as a new hook here or there, a new picture on the wall or a new bedside lamp. Because we also want time to go to the lake, make a bonfire or search for raspberries in the thickets along the road.
Last year I posted about the exterior of the house.

my home today
1. Thistle from our walk today.
2. Morning light in our new bathroom. Ohh it has taken us so long to get this far and we are not at all finished yet. I will skip telling you about all the troubles we have met during the process. Now we feel confident with the result.
3. The laundry. Always the laundry.
4. More peeking into the bathroom.
5. Lavender for the backyard.

Mercedes Hernáez & Alejandro Sticotti
I enjoyed reading the interview with Mercedes Hernáez and Alejandro Sticotti at Freunde von Freunden.
I love to read about how people create and manage to fulfill their dreams.
Look at this fantastic house that Mercedes and Alejandro constructed themselves. And the very green and beautiful surroundings. Alejandro Sticotti is an architect and Mercedes Hernáez is a graphic designer. She creates mini guides of Buenos Aires and a very beautiful collection of handmade notebooks. She also runs the little shop mono that I would love to visit if we ever come to Buenos Aires...

Claire Cottrell
I am very much in love with this beautiful and simple place (and not least the garden and the yellow dress). Claire Cottrell lives there and when the photos were taken she had only lived in the house for 10 days. Claire Cottrell is the owner of the fantastic little book shop Book Stand with rare, aesthetic and visually inspiring books. She has a master in landscape architecture and has worked as creative director and filmmaker.
(And her beautiful yellow dress is from Jesse Kamm).
All photos found via Freunde von Freunden, read more about Claire Cottrell.
More inspiration from Freunde von Freunden here, here and here.

a space to forget time and place
Amazing space via Freunde von Freunden - and the woman who lives there, Gisèle d'Ailly van Waterschoot van der Gracht, must be quite a personality. See all photos from her huge apartment here.
