We are back again...

We are back again from France.

We returned just before the airport closed down because of snow.

The room upstairs

This is the tiny room upstairs in my grandparents' house where my dad and his sister used to sleep.
I spent hours in this room in my childhood.

The place has been empty for years now.
We visited it last summer - wish I took some more photos.

I still use them once and a while.

I still love these knitted and croched hats found in Peru and Bolivia some years ago.

The colours so delicate and the alpaca wool so soft.

Pocket Industries by Henriette Heise - so fine! I must go to her opening Friday. Do also visit some of her fantastic pockets and drawers.

Oslo # 2 - The Country House

I was so lucky to visit this fantastic house in the countryside outside Oslo while in Norway.

The building is a very beautiful old military property in the middle of the forrest.

There is no heating in the house and it was freezing cold while we were there. The electronics in my camera froze so the photos are taken with my iPhone.

The Maid's Room

A's sister lives in a fantastic old apartment.

At the very top of the building is where the maid's room used to be.

This is where we sleep when we visit A's family.

I love this room.
