Fastelavnsfest
Remember the bunny costume? Well, today was the day and she was very proud when we went to the "party" in kindergarten.
I was very satisfied as well - especially with the idea that the costume is in two parts and that the pom pom is attached with a button so that the little woollen one-piece can be used alone.

Today
Many things happened today.
I can't really remember it all - but, ok:
There is a terrible mess at my desk
I refound the little pink dog from my childhood
We passed by these nicely decorated windows of a closed shop
Frida Viola made the "fastelavnsris" in kindergarten (that is, she decorated the branches for shrovetide)
We played too long so dinner was very late

Trylledej / Salt dough
Salt dough (or "trylledej" as I prefer to call it in Danish) is a fantastic occupation for a little almost 2-years-old - and also very nice for mothers to play with.
Eco-friendly, cheap and very easy to make and work with for the little hands.
Andreas Eriksson: High, Low & In Between
I have previously posted on the Swedish artist Andreas Eriksson.
This is his new and super fine little book.
I love the cover with embossed circles - like the grains of the trees he often paint.
I wrote the text in the book about Andreas' work.
By the way Andreas Eriksson has been chosen to solo exhibit in the Nordic Pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2011.

Old & Handsewn
Thrift store find from Sweden for a girl aged 5 or 6, I think.
The pattern and colour so fine.
I like the eco clothes from Tricotage - very nice quality, patterns and colours.

First day of spring
Officially it's the first day of spring today. It has been gray and cold all day but the days are getting longer and I keep watch with the little signs everywhere.
