Playing

Playing with someone else's toys is always exciting. Molly at Agnes' place today.

Looking so much forward to see this movie - I love Wes Anderson's film (but of course, with two little kids I probably won't be seeing it before it's released on dvd...)

New Nordic Pizza

Who said it's not ok to play with food? Well it makes it much more fun at least.

Tonight's dinner: Pizza "new nordic style" - with whole grain flour from Aurion, ramson pesto made with ramson from mom's garden, fennel, Jerusalem artichokes, carrots and tomatoes from Aarstiderne and Danish goat cheese. Not Italian at all - but very good.

what i wore at Caramel Baby & Child blog - nice photos and sweet little stories.

Beatrice Valenzuela # 2

I have posted on Beatrice Valenzuela and her beautiful handmade shoes and fantastic home once before. Look at these beautiful photos found via LMNOP. I love the weaving in picture 1 that Beatrice made - and of course the cute little leather baby moccasins, that I would love for Molly.

A day with Frida Viola is never boring. Finally she collapsed.

Summer in Cph

We want to move, yes, but summer in Copenhagen is also nice (especially when you are on maternity leave) - flea markets, parks, ice cream, playing outside...

1. The parks are blossoming.
2. Molly is wearing little summer dresses. She is 2 months now.
3. Crochet baby string from Shirley Bredal.
4. Waiting for dinner.
5. No garden, but lots of basil in the window sill.
6. From a flea market - don't know what it's called (?), but it's beautiful and very functional when you want to sieve the flour.

P.H.s Book on Kites

A little nice book on kite making for children from 8-128 years I once gave my dad, by Poul Henningsen.

Celebrating Molly

This weekend we held Molly's baptism. We wanted to be as much outside as possible, and my mom was so kind to lend us her place for the celebration. We were so lucky with the weather. Suddenly it was like summer after a really cold week.

This is about the only photo we have with Molly - and my sister and I are doing a great effort to make her smile just a little bit! I guess I will have to make "fake" photos with the dress later on. Posing with a baby is just never succesful.

The tables were set with a mix of my mom's, my grandmother's and my own tableware - and flowers from mom's garden. I like it that way.

And this is me yesterday - very tired, before we drove the very, very long way back to Copenhagen.

More Birthday

Spring time is birthday time in our family - today A's. Frida Viola and I woke him up this morning with strong coffee, croissants and fresh fruit, and this afternoon we made him a rhubarb crumble with lots of uganda-vanilla. Good. Molly's baptism is Sunday, so no big party for A this year.

May 15 last year.

Looking forward to the opening of by3191.

Checkmate

I have always loved to play with marbles. Frida Viola likes it too.
