Dagnysminde # 2

The house has been empty for years - my grandparent's country house, Dagnysminde. This is where my dad grew up. He was born during WWII. His childhood home was modest. When my granddad died my grandmom chose to move to the nearby village. She felt alone out there in the countryside. Now they are all gone, only my dad's littlesister is left. This place is so filled with memories, layer upon layer.

I always think it's the last time I will ever see that place when I go there. I still hear the tick-tock of my grandmom's big clock when I enter the living room.

  2. Hej Ditte - tak for det :) Halskæden har jeg selv lavet med nogle fine gule keramikperler. Jeg tror snart, der kommer en lille give-away ;-)
