Those of you who follow us here know that we like to do something special & home created for the kids for shrovetide. This year Frida Viola wanted to dress up like an Indian. I was happy with her choice and imagined something very natural - with undyed feathers, fur, bow & arrow and only natural colours. But I couldn't be more wrong in my perception. She refused even to try on the first dress I made. So today we ended up with this very colourful & very happy little Indian together with her tiny bunny sister (and a tired mommy that sew all night...) Luckily Molly was more than happy with the bunny costume we made for Frida Viola a couple of years ago - here & here.

DeleteLove how you always go down the home-made route, how you sew the costumes yourself and create rather than buy. Your girls will have such great memories of this and a collection of dressing -up clothes made by their mum. I admire it all. I've also looked at these Minnetonkas for a long while, they look so comfy. And pink! Love your choice of colours everywhere. Such a great blog, Elizabeth x
